Is there anything I can do to prepare my child for potty training
before he/she is ready? Yes, teach him/her:
Relevant vocabulary such as poop, bathroom, pee, diaper
To alert you when he/she has an urge to relieve himself/herself
To take off and put on his/her potty training clothing themselves
I'm potty training a boy and he keeps missing. What can I do?
Encourage your son to aim his urine stream in the center of the
bowl. Sometimes putting a piece of cereal in the toilet bowl and
having him aim at it helps.
